Hanson said she paid for her own overseas trip — turns out party funds covered the hotel

Senators must legally declare who pays for their travel. Hanson's register says she paid personally for her UK–Europe trip. On 7 August 2026 she admitted One Nation party funds covered her London hotel — up to A$900 a night. The party hasn't explained the mismatch.
