Court Tells Meta to Pay $567 Million for Harming Kids' Mental Health

A court in New Mexico told Meta (Facebook's parent company) to pay $567 million for harming children's mental health. Most of it — $420 million — goes to helping young people get treatment. Added to an earlier $375 million ruling, Meta now owes $942 million total. Meta says it will fight the decision in a higher court.
