Trump and Canada's Leader Trade Sharp Words

Trump called Canada "nasty" and said it "screwed" the US. Tariffs are taxes on goods crossing borders, in effect since July 1. Carney called them a "direct attack on Canadian workers." Both sides agreed in late July to talk more, but no new meetings are planned yet.
