Google Maps Can Now Order Food, Book Hotels, and Find Event Tickets for You

On August 6, 2026, Google announced that its Ask Maps chat assistant can now order food through services like Square, Toast, and Uber Eats, compare hotel prices with direct booking links, and find event tickets — all from within a conversation. The features are rolling out to US users. Ask Maps can also remember past chats and, with your permission, use Gmail and Calendar to personalize results.
