Cambridge Now Investigating Professor It Previously Defended

Cambridge University is formally investigating Professor Jason Arday — its youngest-ever black professor — over "new information" about his qualifications and honorary appointments. The university had called him "the victim of a vile campaign." It reversed course after a Guardian investigation found discrepancies in Arday's claims about fundraising and an alleged knife-wielding intruder incident. Cambridge says it will not comment further until the probe ends.
