Uber's CEO Says Waymo Partnership Is Fine After Report of Trouble

On Uber's August 5, 2026 earnings call, CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said the company's driverless-car partnership with Waymo remains "very strong" in Austin and Atlanta. He was responding to a July 24 Reuters report saying Waymo might end the deal, which knocked 4.3 percent off Uber's stock. The partnership already ended in Phoenix earlier in 2026.
