Dozens Die as Tens of Thousands Cross From Morocco Into a Spanish Border Town

At least 57 migrants died as up to 60,000 people crossed from Morocco into Ceuta, a Spanish town on North Africa's coast. That's about 70% of the town's population. Spain said the crisis was under control by August 2026 after about 48,000 went back within a day. Thousands stayed. The rush followed a Supreme Court ruling.
