MacPaw Shifts Its App Store Toward AI

MacPaw said August 5, 2026 that SetApp, its subscription app store serving over 150,000 paying users, is shifting to AI apps. Users will pay with credits based on how hard each task is. Developers get one tool to build apps using AI models that run either on your device or in the cloud. No launch date yet.
