Electric Motorbike Startup River Raises $120 Million

River, an Indian company that makes electric two-wheelers, raised $120 million on August 5, 2026. The funding came entirely from Indian investors, led by Elev8 Venture Partners and Claypond Capital. New backers included HDFC AMC and 360 ONE Asset. Previous investors Yamaha Motor, Al-Futtaim Group, and Mitsui also joined. River has now raised $144 million total.
