OpenAI to Pay $3.2 Million Over Hiring Bias Claims

OpenAI and its subsidiary Statsig will pay $3.2 million to settle government claims they favored foreign workers over US job applicants. The government said the companies used paper-only applications, late-night radio ads, and never posted jobs publicly.
