Telegram Removed From Apple App Store After Extortion Threat

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov said someone altered an old group-chat message to show illegal content that other members could not see, then threatened to flood Apple with reports unless paid. Apple removed Telegram before reaching out to the company. Apple has not commented publicly.
