SpaceX Spent $329 Million on Tesla Batteries in Six Months

SpaceX reported buying $329 million worth of Tesla Megapack batteries through the first half of 2026 — $295 million in the second quarter alone. The batteries keep power steady for xAI's data centers, which run intensive computing tasks. Google is paying $920 million a month for that computing power, due September 30.
