Gambling companies accused of giving VIP gamblers drugs and sex workers

Campaigners Tim Costello and Luke Bateman told a government inquiry that betting firms Sportsbet and Tabcorp gave their biggest gamblers cocaine, alcohol and sex workers to keep them betting. Bateman described a private Gold Coast event for top spenders. Both companies denied it. Sportsbet says it found no evidence its staff offered drugs or escorts.
