Former BBC Star Enters Poetry Contest Under a Fake Name

Huw Edwards was given a six-month suspended sentence — meaning no prison time unless he reoffends — for viewing 41 indecent images of children as young as seven. He then entered Wales's National Eisteddfod poetry contest under a fake name, "Y Gelyn" ("The Enemy"). Judges didn't know who he was. Edwards said the poem honored his late father.
