July 2026 was IMAX's biggest month ever, earning $257 million. Five hit films drove the surge: The Odyssey ($221M across all IMAX screens worldwide), Spider-Man: Brand New Day ($355M North American opening), Toy Story 5, Moana, and Minions & Monsters. Together they pushed the North American box office to a record $430 million weekend. Spider-Man expands to more IMAX theaters August 6.
