MPs ask why Fujitsu can still bid for £54bn in government work after Post Office scandal

MPs want the government to explain by August 12 why Fujitsu is still listed as an approved supplier for £54bn worth of public contracts. Fujitsu stopped seeking new government work in January 2024 after its role in the Post Office scandal. Committee chair Liam Byrne wants to know if that pause is still in effect.
