Protests in China after Peters' comments to Green MP

People protested in Beijing after Foreign Minister Winston Peters told Chinese-born Green MP Lawrence Xu-nan to "go back to his own country" in Parliament. The New York Times reported it using Peters' government title. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon called the remarks "racist and offensive" but hasn't spoken to Peters yet, saying both had been travelling.
