Bombing at protest in Pakistan's Swat Valley kills 14

A suicide bomber killed at least 14 people outside a police station in Pakistan's Swat Valley on August 2. The crowd had been protesting growing violence in the region. No group has claimed responsibility, but suspicion falls on the TTP, a militant organization that broke a peace deal with Pakistan's government in late 2022. Such attacks have since become common.
