Super Mario Sunshine coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on August 13

Nintendo confirmed Super Mario Sunshine joins the GameCube Nintendo Classics app on Switch 2 on August 13, 2026. The 2002 game returns to digital availability after Nintendo removed the limited-time Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection in 2020. Access requires the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership at $50/year. The GameCube app is exclusive to Switch 2 hardware.
