BP Puts Its Remaining UK North Sea Oil and Gas Fields Up for Sale

BP announced on 31 July 2026 that it is looking to sell its remaining oil and gas fields in the UK North Sea, including Seagull and Alligin. The decision is part of a review led by BP's new CEO, Meg O'Neill. BP had already sold its Culzean gas field to another company, NEO Next, in December 2025.
