Google Used AI to Find and Fix a Surge of Chrome Security Flaws

Google fixed 1,072 security flaws in Chrome across two June updates — more than the 1,036 fixed in the previous two years combined. Engineering director Doug Turner said AI models like Gemini helped spot the problems early. Google has not said how serious each flaw was.
