Former Obama Lawyer Questions Epstein Accuser's Story
Kathryn Ruemmler, who once served as the top lawyer in Obama's White House, told a congressional watchdog committee she doubted some claims by Virginia Giuffre, a woman who said she was abused by Jeffrey Epstein. Giuffre's family condemned the testimony, noting she died by suicide in April 2025 and cannot respond. The testimony was released July 29, 2026.
