Netflix Gets Walking Dead in $500 Million Deal

Netflix will share streaming rights to all 371 Walking Dead Universe episodes in a five-year, roughly $500 million deal, ending its exclusive run since 2011. AMC's own streaming service keeps the same rights too — betting viewers will still pay for both. Spin-off shows arrive on Netflix in 2027.
