Airbus fined record £6.4 million for breaking UK rules on military exports
Britain's tax authority fined Airbus's UK arm £6.4 million — the biggest-ever penalty of its kind — for poor record-keeping on licences to export controlled military technology. The breaches happened before November 2022. Airbus reported the mistakes itself and cooperated. The authority said it "will not hesitate" to enforce rules on military goods exports.
