U.S. and Saudi Forces Strike Iran-Backed Groups in Iraq Together for the First Time

On July 28, 2026, U.S. and Saudi forces attacked bases in Iraq used by militias loyal to Iran, the U.S. military confirmed. An Iraqi militia group said 20 members were killed and 32 wounded.
