Russian Missiles Hit Three Ukrainian Cities, Killing Seven

On 30 July 2026, Russian missiles struck three Ukrainian cities — Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Lviv — in a coordinated wave. Six people died in Kryvyi Rih, including two girls aged five and twelve, and one died in Kyiv. By hitting cities spread from central Ukraine to the Polish border, Russia aimed to spread Ukraine's air defences thin. Poland scrambled fighter jets in response.
