Carney says Canada won't use oil as a trade weapon against the U.S.

In Red Deer, Alta., Prime Minister Mark Carney said Canada won't cut energy sales to pressure the U.S. in trade talks. Trust is Canada's best asset, he said. The choice leaves fewer options before August 19, when new U.S. taxes hit roughly US$20-billion of Canadian goods.
