Saudi Arabia Hits Back at Militia Targets in Iraq After Drone Attacks on Oil Sites

Saudi Arabia struck militia targets inside Iraq on July 29, 2026, working with the United States, after militias flew drones at Saudi oil facilities on July 27–28. Saudi forces shot the drones down, but then went further — attacking the sites where the drones were launched from inside Iraq. President Trump vowed to punish those responsible.
