Google to Let Apps Check Kids' Ages Worldwide by 2026

Google will let Android app makers check a user's age range worldwide by end of 2026, starting in Australia and Canada by mid-August. Parents approve this through Google's Family Link tool. The system shares only an age bracket, not a birth date. Apple introduced similar tools globally in February 2026.
