Two Companies Plan a $100 Billion Data Center in Kentucky

Brookfield and NextEra announced a $100 billion privately funded data center on a former government uranium site in Paducah, Kentucky. The facility will make its own electricity, so local households' power bills should not rise. The companies have not said when building starts or what energy sources they will use.
