Howard University Drops 502 First-Year Students Over Missed Tuition Deadline

Howard University removed 502 first-year students in late July 2026 after they missed a July 10 tuition payment deadline. The school says it warned students starting in March; some students say they never got the message. The removals came just weeks before fall classes. New York has since offered fast-tracked admission at its public colleges.
