Deadly Wildfires Force Hundreds of Thousands From Homes in France and Spain

Two French firefighters died battling wildfires on July 21. Across France and Spain, 320,000 people have had to leave their homes. Spain's Ávila fire — the biggest ever recorded there — burned an area larger than 185,000 soccer fields. France's fire is still not under control. Officials say July 27–28 are critical before heat hits 40°C again.
