Fake AI Doctor Videos on TikTok Could Harm Viewers, UK Experts Say

Research by agency Hallam found 40% of TikTok's most-watched health videos are made by AI, not real doctors, averaging 2.5 million views each and spreading false cancer claims. Dr Emma Runswick of the BMA warned people "could pay with their health or lives." NHS England and GP leaders agreed. TikTok disputed the study but removed flagged videos.
