Weedkiller Maker Syngenta Settled Every Parkinson's Lawsuit Before Trial

Syngenta settled every lawsuit claiming its weedkiller paraquat causes Parkinson's before any reached trial, including a January 2026 deal. The company denies the link. Neurologist Wes Thevathasan says studies show paraquat users face about three times the Parkinson's risk. Over 70 countries ban it; generic versions still sell in Australia.
