Government Agency Cracks Down on Drone Company Over China Connection

The FCC, which regulates US communications, proposed a $25,000 fine against Xtra Technology on July 10 for refusing to say where its technology comes from. On July 17, the agency moved to block sales of Xtra's current products, suspecting they contain parts from DJI, a banned Chinese drone maker. Xtra has stopped taking preorders and is refunding deposits.
