Over 100 House Democrats, Including Pelosi, Vote to Pause Israel Military Aid
On July 15, 2026, 103 House Democrats, including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, voted to pause $3.3 billion in military aid to Israel — money the U.S. sends for weapons and defense. The vote failed. Pelosi said she voted "for the message that it sends." Doubts about the aid now reach beyond the party's left wing. In April, most Senate Democrats backed two Sanders-led attempts to block arms sales; Fetterman opposed both.
