Uber Offers $14.8 Billion to Buy Delivery Hero

Uber offered to buy Berlin-based Delivery Hero for €41.50 per share on July 15, 2026, valuing the company at $14.8 billion. Combined, they would cover 50 countries and form the world's largest food-delivery business. Uber already owned 19.5% of Delivery Hero. Prosus, owning about 17%, agreed to sell its shares, helping Uber reach the 50% needed to complete the deal.
