SpaceX Stock Drops Below Its IPO Price, Then Barely Recovers
SpaceX shares fell below their $135 IPO price for the first time on July 15, 2026, hitting $132.15 before closing at $135.27 — just 20 cents above the original offer. The slide comes five weeks after SpaceX raised $75 billion in the largest IPO ever, valuing the company at $1.75 trillion. The investment banks managing the sale had no shares left in reserve to prop up the price.
