Telenor Lowers 2026 Forecast as Profits Slip

Telenor's quarterly profit fell 4.8% and revenue dipped 0.7%, dragged by weaker sales in Norway and Finland. The company lowered its 2026 growth forecast to near-flat. At the same time, Telenor is buying back its own shares, purchasing Sweden's Bahnhof, and reshuffling its structure — all while its core Nordic business contracts.
