More People Around the World Now Like China Better Than the U.S.

A July 2026 Pew Research Center report finds people in 25 of 36 surveyed countries have a better opinion of China than the United States. China scores 51% favorable on average across 37 nations. China's standing has risen since 2023 while America's has dropped — a change that could reshape which countries choose to work together.
