Hundreds of Rohingya Refugees Feared Dead After Boats Sink Off Myanmar

Two boats carrying more than 500 Rohingya refugees likely sank off Myanmar's coast in July, UN agencies reported. The refugees had fled Rakhine State in late June. With over a week passed, rescue efforts are considered over. Casualty numbers remain unconfirmed. Over 300 refugees had already died or gone missing in the region's waters this year.
