Natural gas prices closed at $2.959 per million British thermal units (a standard unit of gas) on Nov. 4, 2026, up 6.4 cents, per Natural Gas Intelligence. It was the second straight daily gain. Two days is too short to call a trend. Wholesale prices take time to reach household bills, so one day's close does not change your bill.
