Snapchat Daily Users Fall Short of Forecasts; Stock Drops 12%

Snap reported 495 million people opened Snapchat on an average day in the third quarter of 2026, below the 499 million analysts expected but up from 493 million three months earlier. The stock fell 12% after advertising income and user growth missed forecasts. Over 30 million people now pay for extra Snapchat features, including Snapchat+, Memories Storage and Lens+.
