Samsung's New Foldable Phone Gets a Tougher Screen

Samsung's new Galaxy Z Fold 8, arriving July 22, uses a super-thin metal layer under the display to make it more durable. The material is 20 times stronger than the plastic used before. It sits above a metal plate that keeps the fold steady. Samsung says it works better, but we'll know for sure once people use it.
