Ukraine Attacks Russian Ships in the Sea of Azov
Ukraine's attack drones forced Russia to stop all shipping in the Sea of Azov for nearly a week in July 2026. On July 12 alone, drones hit 14 ships—ten tankers and four ferries carrying fuel. It marks the 91st ship hit this year. The waterway, once a safe supply route for Russian forces, now faces the same Ukrainian attacks that have targeted other Russian shipping routes since mid-2025.
