Graham Platner withdrew from Maine's U.S. Senate race July 10 after a woman accused him of rape. He says it didn't happen. Democratic leaders, including Senator Bernie Sanders, asked him to leave the race. Platner had won the party's primary in June with more votes than any other Maine Democrat running for Senate in history.
