Trump Removes All Members of Election Watchdog Agency

President Trump removed all three members of the Election Assistance Commission on July 10. This agency approves voting machines and gives money to states for election security. Without members, it cannot do its job. States getting ready for 2026 elections will now wait longer to buy new voting equipment.
