U.S. Expands Military Strikes on Iran to Wider Targets
The U.S. military attacked over 170 locations across Iran on July 7–8, hitting military bases and ports. This is much larger than June's strikes, which targeted only one nuclear facility. The new campaign seems aimed at weakening Iran's overall military power, not just stopping nuclear weapons development. Iran says 14 people died; the U.S. has not confirmed how many were killed. Both sides are still talking through diplomatic channels.
