SpaceXAI Bakes Grok 4.5 Into Cursor, Not Just Renting It

SpaceXAI launched Grok 4.5 on July 8, jointly developed with Cursor and now built into the software by default. An April deal gives SpaceXAI options to invest $10 billion in Cursor or buy it outright for $60 billion. This is different from most partnerships, which let software use multiple models freely.
