Starmer hints at bank holiday if England wins World Cup

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer told the BBC that an extra day off work would probably follow an England World Cup victory. He stopped short of a firm promise, saying he'd rather wait and see if England reaches the final on 19 July. England plays Norway in the quarter-finals first, on Saturday.
